Overview

Are you the type of person who lives and breathes code. Always on the cusp of what’s experimental and will have a body of work to prove it. Do you have have experience of building and maintaining multiple websites in standards compliant HTML & CSS, often at the same time. You’re excited by responsive web development and are an expert in cross-browser compatibility issues across different devices. You can also code to a high level of JavaScript and are used to working with associated libraries such as jQuery. Finally, it helps to have a good understanding of PHP and you’re able to adapt quickly to our clients CMS.

With some serious experience under your belt from a web design agency or similar, you’ll understand the speed and attention to detail that’s required in this environment. Which means if you can think intelligently about problems, adapt quickly and explain why things have happened, you should fit in well.
Technical skills required:
•    HTML & CSS
•    JavaScript (jQuery, AJAX)
•    PHP & MySQL
•    Cross-browser compatibility issues
Plus a good understanding of:
•    Responsive web development
•    CSS preprocessors (SASS)
•    XML & JSON
•    External APIs (Facebook, Google and Twitter)
•    MVC design patterns & frameworks (CodeIgniter)
