Green Shoots Recruitment is looking for a Web Designer for a digital agency in Lutterworth, with over 3 years’ experience in a similar role, who is confident designing Wordpress sites, for many different sectors. Leading by example you will have 4 direct reports within the digital creative team you will brainstorm digital concepts, delivering first class digital designs for varied client base. They are looking to take on a Web Designer to head up the department and manage staff development and projects from conception to completion. This person should also be prepared to jump on a Mac themselves and not be afraid to take a hands on attitude to projects. You would need to be comfortable working towards deadlines, delivering great customer service and working towards team goals. This role would suit you if you’re looking for a long term career in management and have a desire to work with bespoke CMS web design and SEO implementation. Required skills •Good working knowledge of Adobe CS5+ (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver); •Bespoke Wordpress sites; •Good working knowledge of responsive/mobile sites; •Good HTML5 & CSS3 knowledge; •Excellent written & spoken communication; •Excellent organisational skills; Understanding of SEO site architecture would be desirable but training can be provided. Any experience with plug-in adaption, working on membership sites and knowledge of Woo commerce would be advantageous. Exposure and understanding of PHP would be very useful.
