Our client is a European technical solutions provider with offices in Hampshire and Europe and they are looking for a Trainee Vendor Manager to join their talented team as a brand new role for the company. This exciting new position includes a broad mix of business development and marketing skills with the opportunity to travel to various events. For the right person, the role will enable you to progress within the company to build a successful career in marketing.

Trainee Vendor Manager Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to the Strategic Alliance Director you will look after the Sales, Technical and Marketing areas of the business to help maintain and strengthen Strategic Alliances with the assistance of a small team.
2. Maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally
3. You will be involved in sales forecasting using a CRM database 
4. Build lead generation campaigns such as social media marketing, tradeshows/events and email marketing to name a few.
5. There will be a high focus on tracking results and effective reporting

Trainee Vendor Manager Skills Required:

1. Degree educated with a Sales, Marketing or Business focus
2. Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
3. Creative focus 
4. Excellent presentation skills 
5. Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint 
6. Trainee Vendor Manager Experience Required:  
7. Experience within a marketing role is essential 
8. Experience with working with vendors will be very desirable
