Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for a New Business Manager who has proven sales experience within the events industry.

 

Responsible for the creation, management, implementation and delivery of all new business plans and activities to support achievement of yearly business targets and ongoing business growth

 

Key Tasks:

 

• Fundamental role in implementing and delivering a New Business strategy put together with the MD/Board

• Help win & develop New Business sales and revenue from a pre-determined target list

• Initiates and manages effective relationships with selected, developed leads on an ongoing basis.

• Establish and be accountable to implement strategic and / or tactical new business marketing plans designed to achieve new business goals and objectives

• Evaluates market research and adjusts new business strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions

• Contributes to developing and maintaining the database

• Attend New Business meetings together with most appropriate colleague for appointment presentation

• Identify and attend networking events (both local and national), follow up and build on relationship started

• Comprehensive understanding of the company proposition and be able to present it over the phone and in person to varied target audiences

• Own follow up on marketing communication activity by phone, email or other means

• Ensure clear brief and support for Account Managers/Directors for them to put together a pitch/proposal

• Liaison with internal departments as required e.g. Marketing, Account Managers

• Report weekly and monthly as required

• Prepare base tender submissions

• To maintain and keep vibrant existing relationships held within the database and work to convert them

• To have regular catch up and progress reviews with Line Manager

 

Essential Skills:

• Events agency experience
