Overview

Our client, a leader in their sector, is looking to recruit a Marketing Officer to join their talented team. The role will be on a four month contract basis but has the potential to lead to a permanent position for the right person.

Marketing Officer Responsibilities:

  1.  Obtain and update information 
  2. Liaise with staff on a regular basis
  3.  Undertake copywriting, content generation and proof reading of copy for the web, publications and advertising
  4.  Contribute to internal and external communications including internal social networking channels
  5.   Organise and run high quality events with the PR Co-ordinator
  6.  Ensure that the company has a high profile presence at a range of external events, source events, handle bookings and coordinate colleague presence
  7. Participate in the events which includes some weekends and evenings as requested
  8.  Support the delivery and evaluation of promotional campaigns, including purchasing media and advertising space, using social media channel, e-marketing and direct marketing approaches

Marketing Officer Skills Required:

  1.    IT literate with the ability to use a content management system and/or a CRM system
  2.   Copywriting skills
  3.  The ability to communicate with others effectively
  4. Excellent organisation skills
  5. Ability to plan own work

Marketing Officer Experience Required:

 

  1.  Level 2 Qualification in English or the equivalent
  2.   Experience of using Social Media Channels to engage with others
  3. Experience of running events (desirable)
  4. Marketing professional qualification
