Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Marketing Manager for a highly successful engineering company based in Cannock, Staffordshire.  To manage the day to day marketing activities.

 

To provide the strategic direction to develop, lead, motivate and deliver challenging sales and marketing initiatives, in line with strategic company development objectives, utilizing traditional and social marketing initiatives.

 

Main Tasks:

 

• Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department.

• Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.

• Coordinating marketing campaigns with planned sales activities.

• Being responsible for the marketing budget, ensuring effective spend and monitoring.

• Being responsible for the effective utilization and data accuracy of the CRM system

• Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans and where possible to utilize the on line print system to reduce design costs..

• Planning and implementing strategic campaigns direct to sales force and via telemarketing department.

• Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.

• Local responsibility for brand management and corporate identity to meet Group Marketing parameters.

• Effectively manage web site and PPC strategies to increase enquiry and order conversion rate.

• Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.

• Manage and ensure cost effective Public Relations campaigns.

• Personally champions and ensures effective adherence to company policies, procedures and sales process.

• Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

• Works in conjunction with Head of Sales and Marketing to ensure efficient price list strategy and implementation.

 

 

Education and Qualifications

 

• Degree-level qualification in Marketing or Business-related discipline

• Excellent IT literacy including the use of business information systems

 

Skills

 

• People management skills, including recruitment and selection, performance management, development, motivation and team building

• Strategic focus and business planning knowledge, with ability to design and manage processes that are supportive of strategic and operational goals

• Well development interpersonal communication and negotiating skills, equally comfortable dealing with suppliers, customers and colleagues

• Excellent creative skills

• Strong and proven ability to plan, organize and prioritise own workload, and to manage the workload of others to ensure deadlines are met

• Proven marketing skills including accurate attention to detail

• Financial and commercial awareness to ensure the focus is on profitable growth

• Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team

• Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities, resolve problems and to lead change within team

• Strong leadership ability

• High level of commitment, loyalty and professionalism

• Must hold a valid driving licence
