Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Marketing Executive for a highly successful engineering company based in Cannock, Staffordshire.

 

This role supports the Marketing Manager to ensure the effective execution of sales and marketing plans and objectives. The individual will project manage a range of activities to implement and report on agreed external and internal communications. In addition the individual is required to provide market analysis and segmentation insight, ensuring the effectiveness of the marketing projects.

 

 

Main Duties

 

• Create, project manage and evaluate marketing campaigns in accordance with business strategies. Campaigns will be related to industry sectors, customer types, environmental factors and telemarketing as agreed by the marketing manager. Create project briefing documents and milestones for campaigns, ensuring that all initiatives are followed up in a coherent and measurable manner.

• Provide market analysis and segmentation insight, via research and /or utilising support of Group Marketing Insight Manager, to substantiate project implementation.

• To be the web champion ensuring continued focus on accurate content, effective keywords, PR content and relevant landing pages for campaigns – utilising internal and external resources.

• Manage Digital Marketing campaigns, predominantly E-mail campaigns, in conjunction with Group Marketing to promote the benefits of the company to customers. Explore and evaluate effective business options for social media use within the business.

• Be the champion for PPC maximising the output of the external PPC agency. Report monthly on the effectiveness and ROI of agency.  Provide the PPC agency with seasonal guidance on business requirements and equipment. Utilise agreed keywords throughout the web, e campaigns and customer messaging.

• Manage and maintain Sales and Marketing community and market intelligence competitor knowledge.

• Project management of exhibition stand and attendance, including stand design, key messages and stand management. Provide a comprehensive follow up and ROI report.

• Support the CRM Data administrator and Tenders Manager with data analysis and reports.

• Monitor and reconcile budget and purchase order by supplier and report monthly.

 

Education/ Qualifications

 

Desirable – qualification in Marketing or Business related subject with good basic secondary education as a minimum requirement – Higher or A Level equivalent or a minimum of 24 months experience working in a commercial environment.

Preferred previous experience
