My client – a quirky user-focussed design studio in Amsterdam – is looking for a Junior – Mid level Visual UI Designer to take on a permanent position within their team.

Amsterdam is a lively, bubbling city and perhaps the backdrop to your next new job. If you’re currently based in the area, or are looking to relocate using your own expenses then this could be a great opportunity for you. An English speaking firm, any grasp of the native language will be useful but is not necessary.

Your role will revolve around concepting interface designs for a variety of projects – getting involved in brainstorming and working with other types of designers to ensure products are the best, and most innovative they can be. Working within a team or independently you will develop graphical ideas with usability always at the forefront of your mind. You will also take part in client presentations when necessary.

Requirements for the role are as follows:

– 2 years+ experience within GUI / UI Design
– Experience across a variety of platforms – those of particular interest would be mobile, devices, tablet, web application or product UI’s. Those with experience limited entirely to website design may not be right for the position.
– Full proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop
