This is an ideal role for a talented Front End Developer looking to further their career within Transversal’s Professional Services team.

As a Front End Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites for Transversal’s blue-chip client base. You will utilize your knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as cross-browser differences and web standards, to take projects from design conception to completion.

In this role, you will be working within a team of other developers who work with a wide variety of clients, including such household names as John Lewis, BBC iPlayer, Sainsbury’s and Barclays Bank, to develop both web and mobile interfaces.

Essential skills:

• Fluent in HTML4/5, CSS (including CSS3), and W3C Standards.
• Experience of JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and Responsive Design.
• Knowledge of SEO, Accessibility, UI & UX principles and cross-browser differences.
• Hand coding abilities.
• At least two years commercial experience in a similar role

You should be enthusiastic and highly motivated with an organized approach. You must also have the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary and a keen eye for detail is also a key requirement of the position.

Experience of Ajax, PHP frameworks, mobile apps and Adobe CS would be beneficial to your application.
