Overview

Our client, a leading organisation based in Southampton are looking to recruit a Communications Consultant to lead clients in developing an employer brand and a communication strategy.  

This is a client facing role where the job holder will need to be confident with communicating at a variety of levels (including Management Board level) and competent in managing a project.

• Managing clients to extract the necessary background and objectives to create a brand
• Running creative sessions to brainstorm ideas, shortlist options and define concepts to develop
• Overseeing concept development and ensuring client objectives are met
• Presenting design work to clients and communicating the reasoning behind the direction taken
• Developing communication strategies to maximise project engagement
• Liaising with clients to review, amend and progress communication material
• Developing internal communication documents and materials through copy writing and partnering with graphic designers
• Contributing to team meetings to the department constantly grow and improve

Skills and experience required:

• Experience in a communication based role
• Communication/marketing background and two years relevant experience
• Confident and articulate
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Creative in terms of idea generation
• Experience in managing a project/account management
