Overview

Our client, an award winning full service marketing and communications agency in Dorset are currently seeking a talented new Account Manager to join their team and take day to day responsibility of a portfolio of clients. 

It is a varied and challenging role which requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual experienced in working to tight deadlines.

The Agency has a new main client so it will be an exciting year for growth. You will be responsible for helping establish the client relationship at the very beginning of their three year contract. The campaigns will include launching a new brand, developing a new website and generating local and national interest in the project.

In addition, you will be the first point of day to day contact for three additional Clients on these growing accounts, with responsibility for providing an effective, timely and professional service to them at all times.

You will present the Agency’s proposals (verbally and in writing) and will deputise for the Account Director when required.

You will negotiate and gain approval from the Client for all projects and creative work and to ensure that work is carried out to these agreements, and will delegate to the Account Executives when appropriate to ensure all deadlines are met.

You will need:

1. ·Proven track record of delivering client projects on time and on budget
2. ·Experience of agency processes from brief to delivery
3. ·An understanding of the fundamentals of digital marketing and print
4. ·Excellent attention to detail
5. ·Proven copywriting and proof checking ability
6. ·Experience of working on digital projects
7. ·Experience of working with data and spreadsheets to analyse information
8. ·Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the client 
9. ·Ability to delegate to Account Executives where appropriate
