Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is working with an established expanding marketing agency, based in Worcestershire, offering marketing, design, advertising & PR are looking for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager.
You will need to have a sound understanding of the commercial B2B market ideally gained from working on technical and/or industrial accounts. As such, we will also be happy to consider applications from candidates with technical experience gained from an in-house background.
As an integrated marketing agency, the work will involve through the line activity, with a heavy emphasis on below the line technical print, sales promotion and product packaging. Many of the projects undertaken are extremely complex so attention to detail is a pre-requisite.
You will be dealing with a wide range of client contacts at all levels (technical, sales, marketing, product etc.), so a strong customer facing background is essential.
Initially the role will involve working alongside and supporting other members of the client facing team but ultimately the objective is to give the successful candidate outright ownership of a group of accounts, so we are really looking for someone with the desire and ability to achieve this and play a major role in the long-term development of the agency
The ideal candidate should feel confident talking to and meeting clients to establish their requirements, producing accurate briefs and communicating this with the design team, ensuring the project runs effectively and smoothly, ultimately ensuring the work is delivered on time and in budget. The candidate will be expected to work with different clients to ensure their work is carried out on time and to a high level of quality. You should be keen to bring your existing experience to the table to help make improvements where necessary to ensure the continued future growth and success of the business.
The agency will consider candidates with technical & industrial client experience either from a background in an agency or in-house.
