Our client, an established communications agency with a new office in Central London are currently seeking a talented Account Manager with specific experience in public consultation in London.

Experience of working in the central London boroughs, and good political contacts in the capital, are crucial, as is the ambition to play an active part in a growing team. You will also have an understanding of property and planning beyond London and be enthusiastic to work on strategic projects in the regions. 

You will probably be an experienced Senior Account Executive or developing Account Manager.

Duties include:

• Possessing drive and initiative, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Directors in executing creative engagement programmes to help achieve your clients’ objectives. 
• Your work will include direct liaison with stakeholders and members of the public and you will be expected to produce concise and compelling collateral material. 
• Most of your work will focus on securing consent for planning applications, but – dependent on your knowledge and experience – there are also opportunities on wider public affairs campaigns. 
• Your management will include client accounts and also the work of your assigned Account Executives.

Skills required:

• Understand the property and planning sector and how local government works
• Communicate well with strong writing and inter-personal skills
• Demonstrate drive, commitment and a focus to producing work of the highest standard
• Have attention to detail, excellent workload management and be a good team player
