Overview
Our client is an ambitious B2B marketing and communications agency who, due to rapid growth are looking for an experienced Account Director. They’re looking for a creative individual oversee the work on a range of high profile global and pan-European accounts. Understanding and proven ability to deliver all aspects of multi-channel communication are essential for this role, as well as the ability to communicate with stakeholders and the media.
Account Director Responsibilities
- Brainstorm strategic and creative ideas within a team
- Ensure that opportunities to broaden scope of agency involvement are identified
- Write up final drafts of renewal programmes for director approval
- Establish clear programme objectives with clients and incorporate measurement criteria
- Network regularly with media, journalists and other external influences whilst continually building on the relationships.
- Provide strategic advice to clients
- Manage profitability of accounts to agreed percentage
- Develop and motivate account teams
- Grow and develop client accounts
- Develop and new business for the agency
- Account Director – Skills Required
- A strong PR account management background, preferably within the technology industry
- B2B market knowledge
- Experienced in developing strategic, creative, marketing communications programmes for clients.
Account Director – Experience Required
- Degree or equivalent experience
- A strong background in an agency environment
