Overview

Our client is looking to recruit an E-commerce Executive to work closely with the Ecommerce Manager to achieve and deliver the Ecommerce objectives, both strategic and tactical.  The role will also be responsible for providing timely, accurate and interesting content for the website, both on a pro-active and reactive basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• To monitor online customer feedback and to be the ‘webmaster’ and the main point of contact within the organisation for feedback.
• Create, source and maintain content for the website; create tactical initiatives to help support specific products, and to target particular markets. Proof all content and ensure quality and accuracy.
• Manage the day to day content on the website. Ensure content and links are up-to-date.
• Responsible for content and merchandising, ensuring that all pages, products, prices & promotions on the site are updated & in line with trading at all times.
• Responsible for creating high lead converting landing pages, news articles and keyword rich pages.
• To assist with the day to day management of the PPC Campaigns, implementation and performance monitoring.
• To assist with the day to day management of the SEO Strategy, implementation and performance monitoring.
• Review competitive websites to evaluate site merchandise, promotional tactics, customer experience, and product presentation and translate findings into executable online programs
• Manage the day to day Social Media implementation, including blogs, Facebook and other user-generated content

Skills and experience:

• A strong knowledge of Content Management Systems / CMS
• The ability to write and edit interesting content
• Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading abilities
• Highly creative with good design skills
• You will have experience of using Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Solid understanding of HTML  code and system structures 
• Commercially minded
