Are you a mid/ senior creative ux designer looking for your next role? Are you the type of person that likes to experience different cultures? How does the chance to work in the UK as well as a dip in to some of EU’s UX hotspots sound?
An exceptional opportunity has presented itself with a world leading client of mine, we’re seeking a UX designer with 3 years minimum hands on experience across more than just web. A cross platform UX designer who is able to showcase the web and mobile experience you have. We’re not only looking for a strong hands on practitioner, but we need a confident communicator who is able to collaborate with others in the team.
The ideal candidate will have e-commerce experience with a product focus. User Experience designers who have experience of working across different platforms is a must, we’re looking for portfolios to highlight the mobile and web experience. We’re looking for a UX professional and not a coder or UI designer, but as all good designers know, being able to communicate with the coders/ developers and UI designers is essential when bringing your amazing ideas to life.
The successful user experience designer here will have a background in requirements gathering, so any usability or user research foundations you may have would be great and we’d love to hear all about them! The ideal experience you’ll have is e-commerce, but if you don’t necessarily have e-com/ m-com experience we’re more than happy to see profiles with transferable skills.
The ideal person for this role will be someone who is tech savvy and has a good knowledge of the UX industry and know the trends in the market. We’d be looking for someone who has worked both client side and agency side so you know the way both work and how they can be differentiated. We’d like to see candidates with a university degree in HCI, IxD or Psychology (or in a relevant discipline). Anyone that can speak German would be great to see too.
