Lead UX/ UI Designer – Barcelona

Calling all UX leads!!  An exceptional opportunity has presented itself with a market leading client based in Barcelona. We’re looking for a lead UX designer who is able to take the UX  to that next level. We’re seeking a Lead UX Designer who has a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar capacity in either a direct client side role or with an agency.

Although the role is to be based in a permanent capacity in Barcelona, we’re looking for a UX lead who has excellent command in English. If you have knowledge of French, German or Spanish this is certainly an added bonus. The successful UX lead will have an in-depth understanding of UX methods. We’re seeking a very strong communicator, a lead UX designer who has the skill and tact to share their ideas and methods with others in the team and wider organisation.

The right profile for this role should ideally have proven e-commerce experience, you’ll be given the chance to work on a range of platforms (mobile, tablet & desktop). Being a lead role we’re really looking for someone to have a solid end to end understanding of the UCD process. We’re looking for someone who can lead but has an engaging way of showing what they’ve done and to granularly talk through your processes.

To be a fit for this role, we’re seeking a UX Designer to be as passionate about white board and sketching as they are about polished frames. A great project and would be a great challenge, and as an added bonus, the weather isn’t bad!!
